How I handle your information
This website, StahlRVA.com, is run by Chris Stahl, a REALTOR® licensed in Virginia and brokered by eXp Realty. This page explains, in plain language, what information I collect through this site, how I use it and the choices you have.
What I collect
What you give me. When you fill out the contact form, I collect your name, email, phone number, whether you're looking to buy, sell or relocate, the area you're interested in and anything you write in your message. If you call, text or email me, I'll have whatever you share in that conversation.
Basic site usage. I use privacy-friendly analytics to see things like how many people visit and which pages they read. This doesn't use advertising cookies or track you across other websites.
How I use it
- To reply to you and help with your home search, sale or move
- To keep track of our conversations in my customer management system, so nothing falls through the cracks
- To send you information you've asked for, like listings, market updates or a home value estimate
- To improve this website
I don't sell your personal information, and I don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who I share it with
- eXp Realty, my brokerage, as required to operate my real estate business
- Service providers that help me run this site and my business, like website hosting, the contact form service, email and my customer management system. They can only use your information to provide those services.
- Professionals you ask to be connected with, like a lender, inspector or contractor. I'll only make that introduction with your OK.
- When the law requires it, such as a valid legal request
Calls and texts
If you give me your phone number, I may call or text you about your inquiry. I won't send you marketing texts unless you've agreed to receive them. You can reply STOP to any text from me to stop receiving texts. Message and data rates may apply.
If I send you market updates or other emails, every one includes a way to unsubscribe. You can also just reply and ask me to stop.
Your choices
You can ask me to show you the information I have about you, correct it or delete it. Email me at christopher.stahl@exprealty.com and I'll take care of it. Some records may need to be kept for a period of time because of real estate licensing and legal requirements.
How long I keep it
I keep your information as long as it's useful for helping you, or as long as I'm required to by law or my brokerage. When it's no longer needed, I delete it.
Links to other websites
This site links to other websites, like my eXp Realty home search and my Google reviews. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and I'm not responsible for how they handle your information.
Children
This site isn't meant for children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If I update this policy, I'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
